PACKAGE

The box of the Transcend SSD320 256GB SSD is white and red, reflecting Transcend’s corporate colour scheme. All the critical information is contained on the front, such as the SandForce controller, 87K IOPS, the extra slim 7mm form factor, and the fact that cloning software is included in the package. Also shown are the Read and Write speeds (560MB/s and 530MB/s, respectively), and the drive’s capacity (256GB in this instance).

The rear contains a bit more information.

Contained within the box is the drive itself of couse, but also a 3.5″-to-2.5″ bay converter, installation guide, and warranty information. Also included is a brief set of instructions that explains the necessary information about how to download the Acronis software. The SSD320 package includes a serial key that will be needed to activate the utility. The inclusion of a premium disk migration utility and adapter bracket with this drive is one of the best we’ve seen to date in terms of added value.

Let’s take a closer look at the Transcend SSD320.
