There are those who crave speed, and while DDR3-2000 modules might be overkill for most people, this speed is considered "necessary" to the diehard consumers, and for those people the aXe modules are a great option.

These Transcend aXeRAM modules offer a bit of headroom when going beyond their 2000MHz rated speeds, which isn’t surprising, especially considering they’re CAS9 to begin with; there simply isn’t as much room to work with as you go higher. Nonetheless, the results were still impressive overall. Running 2106 MHz is nothing to be scoff at, particularly when these sticks also proved to be very stable and not touchy to voltage tweaks at all, which is always a blessing when trying to find the limits of your memory and overclock settings. Further, the aXeRAM modules managed to keep pace with premium modules from another major manufacturer that featured lower timings. We’d say that’s pretty darn good overall.

Retailing for approximately $210 USD, the value is pretty good compared to other offerings in this spee range. Transcend has done a very good job with these modules, showcasing sleek aesthetics, quality construction, and solid performance. If you’re looking to jump on the overclocking bandwagon and want some high performance memory modules that run fast and stable, these Transcend aXeRAM 4GB DDR3-2000 modules are a great option.
