WHAT WE LIKED:

Great performance, low noise, easy install. Extreme software works great and is highly customizable.

WHAT WE DISLIKED:

No software for the Performer.

BOTTOM LINE:
Although it's disappointing that the Thermaltake Water 3.0 Performer doesn't come with the excellent software found with the Thermaltake Water 3.0 Extreme, both are solid products and should be on your short list when shopping for coolers of this type.

Introduction

Thermaltake is no stranger to the water cooling market having had the ProWater and the BigWater systems out for quite a long time now. They also got into the AiO cooler market with the Asetek-made Water units.Well Thermaltake has released their latest AiO coolers in the Water series – the Water 3.0 Performer , Water 3.0 Pro and Water 3.0 Extreme. The units are made by Asetek as are most of the market’s AiO units, but Thermaltake put their own touch on these for good measure. They were kind enough to send us both a Performer and an Extreme to check out so let’s get to it!

What happens with the temps if you replace the fans with 2 corsair sp 120mm airflow edition fans? And if you do push pull with TT and Corsair fans?

I’ve been looking around and I haven’t found much comparison data for the 3.0 vs the 2.0. Your results look to be on par with what the 2.0 extreme was already doing. What reason would one have to buy 3.0 vs 2.0 which is $59.99 after rebate?
