Price at time of Review: $69.99+$1.99 S&H for the Performer at NewEgg and $109.99 with free shipping for the Extreme at Amazon.

Great performance, low noise, easy install. Extreme software works great and is highly customizable.

No software for the Performer.
Although it's disappointing that the Thermaltake Water 3.0 Performer doesn't come with the excellent software found with the Thermaltake Water 3.0 Extreme, both are solid products and should be on your short list when shopping for coolers of this type.

I’ve been looking around and I haven’t found much comparison data for the 3.0 vs the 2.0. Your results look to be on par with what the 2.0 extreme was already doing. What reason would one have to buy 3.0 vs 2.0 which is $59.99 after rebate?
