Summary

The Thermaltake T3000 notebook cooler is a rather simple and straightforward product, and while it may not be terribly complicated, it does get the job done very well. Who says successful needs to be complicated anyways?

The aesthetics here are very well done, the aluminum finish is beautiful, and the cooler would look right at home attached to just about any notebook, and certainly for a professional on the go or in an office setting. The construction of the cooler itself is excellent, be we did have a problem with the feet falling off, so be mindful of that. It’s a little thing, but it’s an issue nonetheless, though it is easily fixed with a bit of hardware glue. The performance of the cooler was excellent, dropping the CPU temperature by 9° Celsius. Lower temperatures mean a longer lifespan for your notebook.

Retailing for about $35 USD, the Thermaltake T3000 fanless notebook cooler provides an excellent mix of sharp aesthetics, strong cooling performance, and an attractive price for those notebook users.
