Closer Look

Esthetically speaking, the Mobile Fan 12 might leave some user’s wanting for more or at least some different color schemes; for this reviewer, the colors are perfect. There is nothing wrong with Harley Davidson Orange and Black with a splash of chrome as far as I am concerned.

As we go through the various photos of the Mobile Fan 12 you will see the simple VR nob which will control the fan speed as well as the 2pin fan connector coming off the back top of the Mobile Fan 12.

So far the only thing we would comment on is that the fan is attached to a simple wire stand that does what it is supposed to do, however, there really isn’t a way to adjust the angle of the fan to better direct the air flow. You can do a little tweaking of this stand but we would not recommend a great deal of tweaking or surely some metal fatigue will start to take its affect and possibly break.

The Mobile Fan 12 comes with grills on both sides to prevent fat fingers from contacting the blades.

Here is a close up view of the included USB to 2pin fan connection. Thankfully it is retractable which will help reduce desktop clutter.

With the wiring extended you will have approximately four feet of play to move the fan into the best position for your comfort.

The Thermaltake Mobile Fan 12 looks really nice sitting on this desktop and fits inside the Harley Davidson theme very nicely. Not only does it do a nice job of cooling this old guy while working on this review I found it is the perfect place to sit one of my favorite choppers on.
