The Thermaltake Litepower 450W is a power supply that delivers good features and solid performance when heavily loaded with power-hungry components.  From a feature standpoint, while the unit obviously doesn’t support SLI/CrossFire setups and looks awfully plain in a grey finish, its 80 PLUS BRONZE certified and packs quite a punch for a little unit From a functional standpoint, the Litepower 450W boasts very good voltage regulation and efficiency, and a fairly quiet operation.

We don’t have a modular setup here, and the cables are fairly short, so you’re restricted to a mid-tower setup, or perhaps even an HTPC. If, however, you have a case with a bottom-mounted power supply setup then you may run into problems depending on your particular case layout. But with a top-mounted case design, you’ll be fine.

The Litepower 450W can be found at major online vendors for about $80 USD. Considering it’s 80 PLUS BRONZE certified, and there are few that can make that claim at this market segment (and price), that is a great deal. While the Thermaltake Litepower 450W isn’t an aesthetic specimen, it is a very good power supply that offers performance over flash, and this is absolutely critical in a power supply. The Thermaltake Litepower 450W is an excellent little unit that is deceptively robust, and packs the power where it counts in performance and price.
