WHAT WE LIKED:

Affordable, easy to install, Aesthetics, Easy to use

WHAT WE DISLIKED:

Low total voltage output per channel, low overall wattage

BOTTOM LINE:
The Commander F5 does a great job of hitting some of the key points when shopping for a fan controller but falls just short in others. The F5 will be great for a lot of low to mid-range build projects but may not cut it for higher end and enthusiast class builds.

The Commander F5 is displayed on the top of the box against a multicolored backdrop. There isn’t much in the way of specs listed here so let’s move on to other sections of the box.

Thermaltake made the back of the box as informative as possible by providing all of the technical specs in a central location. Here you will find everything you need to know along with a couple key features highlighted by small pictures. There is nothing of importance on the sides of the box so I will skip those pics.

Once the lid is lifted you will see the Commander F5 is protected by foam inserts and a standard ESD bag. The F5 is packaged with an instruction sheet, warranty info and four mounting screws.
