Introduction

Sunbeamtech is a fairly young company in regards to the computer industry. The inception of Sunbeamtech took place in 2000, and at that point in time they specialized in the developing of (CCFL) Cold Cathode Florescent Lighting. Well here they are a decade later and there product line has expanded in to many different facets of the industry, from CCFL, to fans, fan controllers, cases and power supplies.

Today we will be looking at their latest and greatest fan controller the Sunbeamtech Rheosmart 6. This new fan controller as I’m sure you have guessed controls up to six fans via rheostats built into a 5.25” drive bay, however it has the capability to run the six fans in PWM mode from your motherboard’s CPU fan header, even if they aren’t PWM fans.

So let’s get into the review and see if this is a promising product that can do the job.
