With the onslaught of High Definition and Home Entertainment Systems it was only natural that Computer enthusiasts would start moving their systems from the office to the living room.? However, this was not always so esthetically pleasing seeing a large beige or black box sitting next to that Large Screen HD Television.? Fortunately several case manufacturers came to the rescue with a variety of SFF (Small Form Factor) cases with that not only look good but hide the true nature of your HTPC (Home Theater PC).? The good folks at SilverStone are a major player in the SFF and HTPC chassis market.

Now that we have an attractive small ?stereo-like? chassis we want to load it with as many components we can to satisfy our wants and needs to be able to enjoy the full benefit of our new HTPC.? That?s where SilverStone comes to the rescue.

How would you like to be able to add a ?hot-swappable? 2.5? Hard Drive, a Slot Loading Slim Line 8X DVD?R drive and two USB 2.0 connections in your new HTPC and do it all in the space required of one 5.25? Optical Drive.? Almost sounds too good to be true, doesn?t it?

Today we are going to be looking at a combination of 2 products from SilverStone: the SilverStone SOD01 Slim DVD super multi-slot loading 8X DVD?R drive and the SilverStone?s incredible 3-in-1 small multimedia storage solution, the TS03.

Let’s get started.
