Sapphire Radeon 7750 Ultimate
We’ve looked at quite a few graphics cards lately, particularly those in the mid-to-upper range in terms of performance and price. And while much of the buzz will continue in the near future no doubt, there is something simple to consider that may got lost in the hype: not everyone can afford monster gaming cards. Yes, as tough as it is to believe, there are a great number of consumers who aren’t hardcore gamers or enthusiasts, who want something far more affordable in a graphics card, yet still can handle a bit of light duty gaming from time to time.
We’ve seen several graphics cards from Sapphire, and have noted their ability to provide great products at affordable prices. We’ve also seen several innovative products from Sapphire that no other manufacturer can claim. And today is a bit of a continuation of that trend, as we’re looking at the Radeon 7750 Ultimate. What’s so unique about the Ultimate? Well, it’s a passively cooled card. That’s not new, quite true, but Sapphire is one of the only companies that still has a strong commitment to the niche HTPC market, especially for lower-priced cards, by bringing unique features to a market segment that lacks the hype of the flagship gaming cards.
While the Sapphire 7750 Ultimate does target modest goals, we love innovation and are actually quite excited to take a closer look at this card. Let’s see how it shapes up.
