Sapphire Radeon 6670 Ultimate
Introduction
Lately we’ve looked at quite a few graphics cards in the premium enthusiast segment, including several models in AMD’s Radeon 6900 linup. These cards have proven to be quite impressive for the most part, offering some substantial gaming power at reasonable prices. However, what one considers reasonable might be extravagant and expensive to another. Not everyone is a hardcore gamer and enthusiast, and there is a considerable number of consumers out there that need something far more affordable that can still satisfy a gaming fix. While flagship cards may command much of the hype, it’s the budget cards that quietly bring in the profits.

The Sapphire Radeon 6670 Ultimate is one such modestly card: low-power, passively cooled, and marketed to consumers who may be interested in something for their HTPC or the occasional foray into some light gaming. It packs a bit of horsepower, but it does run utterly silent, so Sapphire has a rather interesting combination to offer here to consumers.
Let’s take a closer look at the Sapphire Radeon 6670 1GB and see how it fares.
