Introduction

Rosewill is probably not a name that first comes to mind when exploring premium cooling technology, but their latest CPU cooler, the FORT120, has shown quite a bit of promise. In fact, Rosewill has seemed to come out of nowhere and released a product that promises some very good cooling efficiency at a rather attractive price of $50 USD. Well, we love good and cheap, we’re suckers for that sort of thing, we admit it.

The Rosewill FORT120 offers Heatpipe Direct Touch (HDT) technology, an efficient method of heat dissipation in tower-style heatsinks, and we’ve seen some rather unassuming coolers post some very impressive results, so we have high hopes for the FORT120 today. Let’s take a closer look and then strap it into the hot seat on a highly overlocked Core i7 monster and see what it can do.
