Rosewill Blackhawk Mid-Tower Case
Exterior
The front bezel of the Blackhawks chassis is entirely mesh for good airflow, surrounded by a thick piano black frame that runs down and around the entire chassis. There are two pre-installed 120mm blue LED fans with the option to add a third. But by doing so would limit you to just one 5.25″ bay at the top.
The lower 5.25" bay has a caddy installed that gives you the option of installing three sizes: 2.5", 3.5", and 5.25" HDD, FDD, ODD, and if need be can be moved to the top or any of the four slots if necessary. The mesh caps come out very easily and clip back in with a simple push on each corner.
The 3 bottom bays as discussed above can be used to house another 120mm front intake fan and all three plates to secure the fan are strong and can be held securely in place at the tabs with screws provided.

There’s an elegantly framed dark gray tinted window I feel is reminiscent of the Blackhawk and comes with a 120mm fan mounted on the door, which I will elaborate more on when we move to the interior.

The right side or back door has the provision to add another 120mm intake but it has to be 18mm thick to allow for room to close the door.

Looking down the top of the chassis we have a built in hot swap bay that will take all three SATA hard drives, and behind it we see a two-tier honeycombed section covered with mesh to keep dust out and able two house two140mm or 120mm fans or a thin 240mm rad.

The hot swap bay at the top comes complete with dust cover for the SATA connector, and directly to the front is your I/O panel with your power on and reset buttons, two USB 3.0 ports, four USB 2.0 and standard Mic and headphone jacks.

On the back there are provisions for your motherboard I/O panel 5 holes with preinstalled grommets for a water cooling setup, one 120mm exhaust fan, eight expansion slots and the cutout for the bottom-mounted power supply.

Last but not least let’s have a look at the bottom of the chassis. Those large solid plastic feet with the rubber inserts make for a stable and non-slip surface that lifts the case 1” inch off the floor for excellent ventilation. The entire bottom is ventilated with dust filters pre-installed in three places: one under the power supply and the other two to the right for one 140mm intake fan or two 120mm intake fans.

Let’s move on to the interior.
