Package
Here’s a look at the package of the Roccat Lua Mouse and Sense Chrome Mouse Pad. We have to say we were impressed with its quality. The black box with the blue artwork really makes the products attractive. At the front of both packages the features and functions are clearly printed and easy to find. The clear window on the Sense Chrome Mouse Pad was a nice touch so you can see exactly what you are getting.
Turning these packages around you can see Roccat goes into great detail with the specifications in multiple languages.
Here’s a closer look at the Roccat Lua Mouse package. We again see a great job by Roccat’s marketing department on the fine artwork.
Next we wanted to point out an extra feature on the Roccat Sense Chrome Mouse pad box. They took an extra step here to provide samples of the materials of the mouse pad itself. This was a great touch so you can feel the product prior to purchasing. There are 2 samples here.
Once we pulled the Roccat Lua Mouse out of its package we were first impressed with the quality of the mouse. The fit and finish is really top notch and is easily one of the better quality mouses we have worked with to date. The weight of the mouse was not too heavy but also not too light. It has just the right feel. The contents were simple and without surprises; however, one thing we did notice is that there was no drivers disk. The contents indicated that you would need to go to the website to download the drivers and software, which was done with a few simple clicks. Obviously, if you don’t have internet access, it could pose a problem, as you will not get the full functionality out of the mouse.
