Conclusion

Roccat did a wonderful job in the design & materials used on the Hiro. It’s very comfortable and is easily the best mouse pad I’ve used to date. I’ve been using the Hiro for over 2 weeks and can say I’m hooked. The sheer size of the Hiro is an amazing feature giving me more room to move around and not worry about running off my mouse pad. The 3D vulcanized silicone surface offered me complete control over my mouse, and its non-slip rubber base eliminated any worry that my mouse pad might slip while gaming.

With that said, we believe the Hiro falls short in a couple of critical areas: First off, the $49.99 price tag is simply too expensive for this type of mouse pad. Knocking it down$10-15 would make the Hiro a great buy. The second problem is the warranty, or should I say the lack of one? With a premium price tag there should be some type of warranty giving the consumer piece of mind. The Hiro is definitely a premium mouse pad, but with a price tag to match, and no warranty, it only earns our PureOverclock Good Hardware Award.

Well Done James……..Fine review and I concur with your opinions..It’s a shame they want too much $$ for a pad!
