The Ereboss is a BIG cooler. Make sure to check your clearances and board layout.
The build quality of the Ereboss is excellent for a new cooler from a new company.
Raijintek’s 14013 fan is great, combining high airflow and low noise characteristics in a unique layout.
Overall the Ereboss is a great CPU cooler from Raijintek. It performs well and is very quiet even at full speed. Installation was tricky mainly due to the need for a long Phillips screwdriver. One other thing that would make installation easier is if the two screws that secure the middle tie-down plate were captive with a spring retainer like several other manufacturers use. This would make installation much easier.
The Ereboss performed quit admirably as well. I can’t help but wonder if it would have performed better with HDT heat pipes like Raijintek’s other coolers use. The Ereboss can only be found at one US supplier right now but can be had for only $45.99. That’s right in line with the SilverStone AR01 in terms of both price and performance. The fan comes with a 2-year warranty and I’ve been told the heat sink comes with a “more than 2 years” warranty. All in all I’d like to give the Ereboss our good hardware award. It works well but has a few shortcomings.
