Continuing the success of the flagship GTX 580 and 570 cards, the GTX 560 Ti brings excellent performance to the mid-range performance graphics card market. Indeed, we saw the PNY GTX 560 Ti OC2 soundly beat the Radeon 6870 in just about every facet, but more importantly trading blows with the 6950. There were a few game titles that preferred Nvidia cards overall, and this card laid the smackdown on the Radeon competition on occasion. As for overclocking, the OC2 is already factory overclocked but has plenty left in the tank, about 24% higher than stock clocks on the core.

So, are there any downsides here? Just a couple. The power connectors are end-mounted, which could pose an issue for those who have tight space behind a hard drive cage in their case. The temperatures are respectable but nothing to brag about due to the reference heatsink design. And while the factory overclock is good, similar results can be easily achieved within a couple minutes on a card with stock clocks.

With a price tag of $250 USD, this PNY GTX 560 Ti costs the same as a few cards with stock clocks, so this OC2 card offers some great value for gamers on a modest budget. And if overclocking isn’t your thing, then a strong factory overclock here is enticing when deciding which one to buy.

With some fantastic horsepower under the hood for the price, and bringing a strong factory overclock for the ride, the PNY GTX 560 Ti OC2 is a great graphics card.
