Patriot XPorter Magnum 64GB
It’s always interesting to see how our perceptions of things change over time. Remember when you were a little kid, bicycling around the neighbourhood and thinking it was as big as the world, only to return years later and realize it was only a couple hundred feet across? Big becomes small, small becomes desirable, and at some point we realize that neither really matters, it was the memories that counted.
Speaking of memories (a perfect segue, no?) the little drive that could, the USB flash drive, is certainly one of those things were perceptions change. I have several 4GB flash drives sitting on the desk, and I remember thinking 4GB of info was an insane amount, I could store an entire DVD on that little thing! Ah, times have changed, and 4GB is the least amount of drive space most people now want in a flash drive. Indeed, big has become small. But we still want small, at least in the form factor. Yes, similar to our childhood, we still want our cake and to eat it too; we want tons of storage in a compact package.
Well, today we’re looking at the Patriot Magnum 64GB flash drive, a product that can store a beastly amount of information in a small package. It seems Patriot may be chasing our dreams after all.
