Patriot may not be a name you hear when it comes to world record overclocks or bench-marking records, but they are a brand that’s been around since 1985 supplying us with quality memory. Today we will be taking a look at the Patriot Viper 3 8GB (2x 4GB) Black Mamba 2400 MHz memory kit. The Viper 3 series of RAM offers speeds from 1600-2400 MHz and is compatible with Intel 6, 7, and 8 series motherboards as well as AMD 9 and FM1/FM2 series motherboards. 
We all know that the price of memory right now is high but we found this kit to be moderately priced under a $100, which isn’t too bad. The Viper 3 series kits are hand tested for system compatibility and are backed by an amazing lifetime warranty. This gives us piece of mind knowing this is one part we won’t have to shell out extra cash for when it dies right after the warranty expires.
