Results: AS SSD, PCMark Vantage

AS SSD

Next up is AS SSD which is usually the most punishing test of all with its incompressible data.

And the Copy benchmark:

Again we see results which are excellent on the 4K testing. The Barefoot 3 M10 controller handles the incompressible data extremely well, chewing through the data and breaking the 1,000 point barrier in this test, which is a rarity.

PCMark Vantage

PCMark Vantage is suited for benchmarking any type of PC from multimedia home entertainment systems and laptops to dedicated workstations and high-end gaming rigs. We’ll use the Disk Drive Suite here since it very closely approximates real world tests and results. This could also be considered the most important benchmark when it comes to directly comparing one drive to another. Great performance here is what counts.

Great results yet again. This indicates the Vertex 450 is certainly a capable day-to-day OS drive and echoing what we saw in Crystal Disk Mark.
