Introduction

The NZXT Phantom is the latest and most intelligent and elegantly designed full tower chassis ever developed by NZXT to quote Johnny Hou, the founder and chief designer at NZXT.  “The profoundly unique contours combined with the highly functional robust feature set solidify the Phantom as one of the most innovative case designs on the market”.

Well, today we are going to take an up-close look at the new Phantom chassis and see if we can hold Johnny to his words.

At first look, the case looks quite striking with its all black interior/exterior, which is becoming quite a popular design spec for gaming cases.  The black interior is quite impressive and looks to be very spacious and yet the overall look of the chassis seems to be more compact and smallish for a full tower.

NZXT first previewed the Phantom at Computex 2010 and then only as a little teaser to whet our appetites.  The release date is now scheduled for early September at the latest and will be available in Black, White and Red with a suggested MSRP of $139 USD.
We’ve got the pre-release first look so there may be some minor tweaks before the case goes retail, but you can expect most of it to be the same. Let’s dive in.

Thanks go to NZXT for supplying the review sample.
