NZXT Havik 120
Introduction
Cooling may or may not be a primary focus for some people. Some operate their computer at stock core speeds, while some push for cutting edge performance. Most of us fit right in the middle. Regardless, when selecting proper air cooling solutions, performance and price are a factor. Most of us do not want to break the bank but still want to insure our CPU cooling gets the best bang for your buck.
NZXT has only been around since 2004 and has already built a reputation with a wide variety of products. The largest part of NZXT’s assortment is computer cases and power supplies. Today, we have our hands on NZXT’s latest venture, and this time it’s a CPU air cooler called the Havik 120. The Havik 120 may not be a beast like some behemoth coolers, but let’s see how it fares with a few different platforms; namely Intel’s Sandy Bridge, Sandy Bridge “E” series and AMD’s Bulldozer processors.
