Package and Accessories

The NZXT Hale90 V2 1000W is housed in a rather sleek white box, complete with a listing of the features and specifications on the front and rear of the box. The box is packaged extremely well and snug, with no worries about damage.

Upon opening the box, a pleasant surprise: both the unit and cables are contained in separate protective boxes. NZXT is pitching this power supply as a high-end unit, and so far the packaging gives that impression.

The accessories include a manual, power cord, screws, cable ties, and screws. It’s a respectable bundle, certainly adequate for this price/power range.

There’s a very extensive grouping of modular cables included with the Hale90 V2 1000W, and all are well sleeved to the connectors. With the exception of the main 24-pin cable, all others are the plasticized flat variety, which we’ve come to appreciate as making things much easier for clean cable routing inside a case; they’re simple to tuck out of sight and improve airflow through a tower.

Let’s take a closer look at the unit.
