Summary

The NZXT Cryo LX notebook cooler is a rather straightforward product, and while it may not be terribly complicated, it does get the job done reasonbly well. The aesthetics here are quite sharp and the aluminum finish is very attractive. The Cryo LX would look right at home attached to just about any notebook, and certainly in an office setting, and the construction of the cooler itself is excellent. The performance of the cooler was very good, and the fans were not loud at all, with the Cryo LX running very quiet.

There really aren’t any negatives to note about the Cryo LX in terms of aesthetics or functionality. If we had to nitpick, perhaps it’s a bit too large for some users, especially those who travel with their laptops on a regular basis. But it is quiet and sturdy, and the stability grips work flawlessly.

The only downside here is the pricing. Retailing for about $80 USD, the NZXT Cryo LX notebook cooler is on the expensive side for what we’d prefer to see, but you do get a great all-around cooler in return, providing an impressive blend of aesthetics and cooling performance.
