The Mushkin Ventura Plus comes in a sleek minimalist clamshell plastic package, highlighted in a black and green aesthetic. Not much information on the front, just the essentials, while the rear has a few tidbits of info in various languages.
Out of the package, the Ventura Plus continues the black and green theme, and is finished in a handsome aluminum housing with ridges that run along the length of the drive. One side shows the Mushkin logo, while the other displays the product name and capacity.
The overall size is rather small and very thin. In fact, the Ventura Plus is one of the smallest 64GB flash drives we’ve seen.
View up close, the Ventura Plus comes with a clear plastic opening on the rear, easily used for a lanyard or directly onto a key ring.
With the cap removed, we see the blue USB 3.0 interface. The cap fits nicely onto the drive with a simple and firm click, and we noted no issues when slightly abusing the drive by tossing it around; the cap stays on snugly.
With the visual tour done, so let’s run some tests and check out performance.
