Overview

Hardware:

Price at time of Review: $70

WHAT WE LIKED:

Sleek styling; Build quality; Very comfortable; Lighting effects; Software; Affordable

WHAT WE DISLIKED:

Lightweight and mid-sized might not be suitable for everyone; No DPI indicator; Optical instead of laser

BOTTOM LINE:
Impressive combination of styling, comfort, and features for the price....but it has stiff competition in the market.

Mionix mice are typically contained in sleek black boxes that each have a large photo of the mouse on the front and general product information and some detailed specifications on the rear of the box. The Castor follows that same understated presentation here, as Mionix appears to have mastered minimalist design on several fronts.

Once inside the box, there is only the mouse and a Quick Start Guide, along with standard Warranty information. There’s a small note from the Mionix CEO, and while the package is fairly minimal, it’s very well presented.
