For those of us who test and review computer hardware, a test bench case is an essential tool in our daily work. Most of us swap hardware as much as we change our socks, and the convenience of an open bench cannot be understated. The form of the bench, however, is up for discussion. Some prefer a case with the side panel taken off, some prefer a large horizontal bench, some prefer a table and a cardboard box. For the record, we’ve used all of those options.

The common thread amongst all different types of test benches is they must be functional above all: easy to use, quick to swap out components, and a simple and smart design. Today we’re looking at a new test bench on the block, the Lian Li PC-T60. Lian Li is certainly no stranger to the case enclosure market, and needing no introduction as a manufacturer of gorgeous premium enclosures that exude a classic minimalist aesthetic. But test benches are a very different type of animal from a regular case setup, and the design implementations vary widely.

Lian Li makes some of the most elegant cases out there, but can they adapt their style to the function-above-all mentality that is essential in a test bench setup? Let’s find out.

Lian Li was founded in 1983. We are the one of the largest and most reputable manufacturer of aluminum PC case in Taiwan . With over twenty years of experience in the computer products field, our dedicated team provide the finest quality accessories available on the market.
