Today we will be looking at a new arrival from LEPA. The LEPA LV12 CPU Air Cooler is a slim-line, low-profile, single-tower air cooler with H.D.T. (Heatpipe Direct Touch) Technology. The LEPA LV12 was also custom designed to elevate those RAM issues with the taller heat spreaders we often experience on other coolers. The BK designation in the LEPA LV12BK stands for the black model. It comes available in either a Matte Black or a White finish.
The single tower LEPA LV12 comes with a matching 120mm PWM fan with patented APS control or Intelligent APS (Adjustable Peak Speed) control of the cooling fan; it provides 3 peak RPM selections for user preferences. Up top and at the center of the LEPA LV12, the fins are a special U shaped design which increase the heat exchange rate. Read on as we put the LEPA LV12 cooler on our test bench to see how it stacks up against the competition. However, before we continue, here’s a little bit about LEPA.
