Introduction
Since the launch of the Intel P67 Sandy Bridge platform to the Z77 Ivy Bridge platform, we’ve seen a great number of changes. With the platform comes new memory kits designed to take advantage of the impressive horsepower provided by the 3rd Gen Intel Core family of processors.
Kingston is one of the companies that are offering new memory modules for the Ivy Bridge platform in a very competitive market. We’ve seen many kits from Kingston over the past few years and their HyperX modules are well known for high performance.

Today we’re looking at an 8GB kit of Kingston HyperX T1 modules that run at 1866MHz speed. They continue the large HyperX heat spreaders, though this time they’re black instead of blue. They should look great in just about any motherboard, so let’s see what prowess these Kingston modules can muscle on our test bench.
