As we saw today, the Kingston HyperX T1 modules secured their status as the top dog in the performance pen, achieving excellent performance increases, and particularly with CPU overclocks when the memory was the limiting factor.

These Kingston HyperX T1 modules offer about 4-5% headroom when going beyond their 2133MHz rated speeds. The tolerances and returns are smaller the higher you go in the speed department, but these modules have sufficient gas left in the tank to reach some impressive numbers on your system. Running 2200 MHz is nothing to scoff at, particularly when they can allow the CPU to hit 4.1GHz. These sticks proved to be very easy to overclock, and not adversely sensitive to voltage tweaks at all, which is always a blessing when trying to find the limits of your memory and overclock settings.

Premium performance comes with a premium price tag, and these 4GB HyperX T1 modules can be found for about $230 USD, which is certainly not cheap. However, this is actually price in the middle of the pack when comparing similarly-rated memory modules for DDR3-2133 at CAS9. Considering these sticks are suited for the diehard enthusiast, you really can’t complain about what you get for the price.
