Summary

In terms of aesthetics, these HyperX Genesis Grey modules are sleek, and would fabulous in just about any P67 motherboard with a blue, black, or grey colour scheme. From a functional perspective, the heatspreaders are very low profile and will avoid any clearance issues with even the largest CPU coolers on the market.

When it comes to performance, the HyperX Genesis modules are very sluggish when run at the standard 1333MHz speed, but when the X.M.P. profile is engaged to 2133MHz, the improvements are very impressive, posting some of the greatest increases we’ve seen to date on the P67 platform.

Pricing is always a bit volatile in the memory market, but we managed to find the HyperX Genesis kit for about $105 USD, which is a fantastic deal for modules in this high speed.

Kingston continues to impress with high speed, high quality modules that feature gorgeous aesthetics and affordable pricing. You really can’t ask for much more than that. If you want a great set of memory modules for your new hotrod Sandy Bridge system, these HyperX Genesis Grey Series modules are practically a steal at this price.
