Summary

To wrap things up, we have to say that we are quite impressed with the Kingston 64GB SDXC Flash Memory Card. When it comes to its use, we encountered no errors. The card worked flawlessly and it’s as simple as unboxing, install and use. With so many HD recording devices out in the market today, the faster and larger capacity flash memory will come in handy especially for those looking to record in 1080p and 2k. Recording device in 4K media hasn’t really picked up a lot of movement just yet, but this is a good start in getting ahead of the game. With today’s testing results, we can see a huge benefit with the faster read and write speeds along with the larger capacity. This will prevent laggy or skipping videos that can be associated with slower media cards.

Kingston was nice enough to also send us the MobileLite G3 memory card reader. While this device works like any other media card reader, we did like the fact that it’s USB 3.0 compliant and backwards compatible with USB 2.0. The ability to use standard SD and microSD cards is an extra benefit. Another¬†great feature is the expandable and collapsable sides to protect and hide the USB port and media cards.

The only complaint is that the device is a little on the bulky side, and if it is plugged into the back side of a motherboard, it can block adjacent USB ports. This is a minor quibble and does not mar an otherwise excellent product.

Ultiamtely, we were impressed with both products and their performance.

We found the Kingston 64GB SDXC Class 3 UHS-I Memory Card for $108.55 and the Kingston MobileLite G3 for $9.95 on Amazon.com. The Kingston MobileLite G3 at $9.95 is a truly great value. The Kingston 64GB SDXC Memory card is a bit on the pricey side, especially considering the prices on SD memory cards have dropped considerably. Still with the amazing read and write speeds it offers it’s worth the price if you need the best in performance. Today, we would like to Honor both Kingston 64GB SDXC Memory Card and the MobileLite G3 Memory Card Reader with the PureOverclock Great Hardware Award.
