Introduction
They say the journey of a thousand miles begins with a single footstep; unless your an octopus, then it starts with a single suction cup. That may not seem relevant but when you consider this is my first time to review here at PureOC, and the product is the IN WIN iEar headset hanger, then maybe the correlation makes a little sense. Let’s begin with a brief explanation about who IN WIN is.
IN WIN Development Inc., an ISO 9001 manufacturer of professional computer chassis, power supplies and digital storage devices, is the leading provider of enclosure solutions to system integrators worldwide. Founded in 1985, IN WIN provides high quality chassis that conform to all safety regulations, as well as unsurpassed customer service.
I’m impressed! Great product review!!!
Any chance you could test if this works on slightly rough surfaces? For example, a cubicle’s overhead metal cabinet. I’ve been looking for a good solution to hang my headphones for a while now. I’m using an oversized binder clip at the moment.
Give me a day and I’ll throw it on my desk with a weight. My desk has a wood grain finish so it isn’t perfectly smooth which should give you the answer you’re looking for.
Ok, I have an update. The weight is enough to cause it to slip off the wood grain pretty quickly. Headphones won’t weigh as much but there will be a risk of the iEar slipping off unless you have a smooth surface. Hope that helps! =D
Thanks for the quick response!,
For the price I might just risk it. Excellent review.
Hey Charles! Glad you enjoyed the review! How is things going with your rig? Getting some game time in?
If anyone else wants to see his rig check it out here http://forums.pureoverclock.com/work-logs/25872-upgrade-my-pc-sponsored-bitfenix-kingston-pureoc.html
I am throughly enjoying it! It’s running great and I have zero complaints. I still can’t believe it sometimes. I am looking forward to the Steam sales over the holidays, but for now I’m playing through Dishonored.
Thanks again to you Sandy and to everyone in the Pure Overclock community!
