Going to In Win’s sites, one gets the impression that they’re big in the style department —especially the retail site, where the word “style” is even in the URL and with lots of Flash, both literally and figuratively.

The same can be said about In Win’s cases:  Many modders with an artistic bent (and some who, shall we say, aren’t so artistically inclined) give their cases a theme of some sort.  In Win specializes in this; they’re not content to just build a different case, but choose instead to peg the uniqueness gauge without hitting the rev-limiter.  Their F430 case, modeled after the car of the same name, is especially apropos in that light.  Their X-Fighter case has a Star Wars-esque theme (I personally think that it’s closer to Battlestar Galactica, but whatever). Their Allure model sports Swarovski crystal of all things.  Some people apply their own artistic statement to a machine; others prefer to leave it to the professionals.  It’s a fine line, though….as with anything which has visible parts, there’s a constant battle between form and function.  It has to look good, but not at the expense of performance….like the Lamborghini Countache from the ‘80s, which was terrific-looking but doomed to chronic overheating and about as aerodynamic as a brick.

The case I’m reviewing today, the B-2 Stealth Bomber, is about as direct as a themed case can get.  It looks the part—it even comes with decals to enhance the effect.  It has a powered front cover which opens in a manner similar to the canopy of its namesake.  The question, of course, is whether or not it performs similarly as well.

Thank you to our friends at IN WIN for supplying the review sample.
