Final Thoughts

When our Tuniq Rep had contacted us requesting that we test some new compound and compare it to their current TX-4, I figured this would be interesting as the temps would be difficult to beat. Normally, a newer product has many revisions before it’s able to perform at a competitive level.

Overall, the HY810 and 880 Thermal Compound did an exceptional job keeping a power hungry CPU cool, even when throwing some outrageous settings at them. It was intriguing to have this opportunity to test out some new compounds. I was extremely happy with the performance of both newer compounds and found a new personal replacement to the TX-4.

While this was more of a research and development testing article than a true review, I do hope that Tuniq decides to take on this new line of compounds. If we were to review these as a finished product, both the HY810 and HY880 Compounds would easily earn PureOverclock’s coveted Editor’s Choice Award.
