Introduction
Over the years I have had the pleasure of enjoying a hobby of mine, which is using and critiquing just about every DVD drive and optical drive software available. Today we have the pleasure of Reviewing; the D-SLIM CD/DVD Portable drive by HornetTek.
With laptops and netbooks becoming more common place in schools and the work place, and many coming without an optical drive or just a reader only, this could be the perfect solution. That being said, HornetTek has come up with a simple solution by launching their D-Slim a portable optical drive that is designed for those who need a rugged light weight external optical drive that easily fits into your backpack, laptop bag, or carry case without having that extra baggage to carry with you of a power cord and bulky power supply.
