Above we see the reason for the "GHz Edition" name of this model: clock speeds of 1000 Core and 1125MHz Memory, a rather impressive set of specs. Hitting 1GHz on a card is usually cause for bragging, although we know faster 7770 models do exist in the marketplace. That said, a 1GHz speed is good for a more modestly-priced card.
