Overview

Hardware:

Manufacturer:

Price at time of Review: $150

WHAT WE LIKED:

Good temperatures; Low noise; Strong performance in CrossFire; Great value; A+ game included

WHAT WE DISLIKED:

Single card performance mediocre; Can't beat GTX 650 Ti Boost; CrossFire hiccups

BOTTOM LINE:
Mediocre single card performance, but shines in CrossFire as a good mid-range option.

Package and Accessories

Starting with the package and accessories, the HIS 7790 iCooler Turbo comes in a tall box that sports a large graphic of a sword that we’ve seen a few times on HIS product designs. Essential information is contained on the front, identifying the 1GB of GDDR5, PCI Express 3.0 and 4K compatibility, and that it’s a Turbo model which sports a factory overclock.

The rear of the box provides more detailed information of the features and specfications.

Inside the box, HIS has included an adequate, though very minimal, accessory package. Included are a Quick Installation Guide, utility/driver disk, a DVI-to-VGA converter, and some warranty documentation.

Let’s look at the cards next.
