HIS 6850 IceQ X Turbo 2GB
In terms of performance, against the GTX 460, the 6850 stumbles in a few games, so there’s some consideration there, plus the lack of PhysX and CUDA obviously can be a factor, particularly if you’re into Folding @ Home. The 6850 is retailing for about $175, while a GTX 460 1GB can still be found for not much more money (or the same if you look hard enough online). With the price difference minimal at best, the question then becomes what does each card bring to the table? It depends on your preference, but with price reductions we’ve from the Nvidia camp, the decision isn’t easy.
We do know, however, that this HIS 6850 IceQ X Turbo is a very attractive model, running rather cool and quiet, and packing quite a bit of gaming horsepower under the hood for a good price. The HIS 6850 IceQ X Turbo is certainly a good card, but there are some other competitive models from Nvidia that give this card a run for its money.
