Power Consumption / Temperatures

For the power consumption, we tested the bench overall with a killawatt meter plugged directly to the PSU of the sytem. Please keep in mind this is wattage for the entire system and not just the motherboard and CPU. We ran both idle and load with and without the HD6990 and load was only put on the CPU.

For temperature you will see both stock and overclock freq. This is also both at idle and load. We took the avg. of the 4 cores.

We are coming to an end here with our data and benchmarks, so let’s sum things up with our thoughts on the Gigabyte Z77-HD4.
