Water cooling is no longer considered as an extreme cooling method for today’s PC.  It’s no longer relegated only to the enthusiast crowd, since recent years have brought many entry level kits to the market, produced by numerous manufacturers such as CoolIT, Corsair, Thermaltake and Cooler Master, just to name a few.  Some have been more successful than others, but these kits are typically user-friendly, fairly cost effective, convenient, and perform well enough for the mainstream user.  You don’t have to be water cooling guru to use these kits in your desktop computer.

Continuing along that theme, today we’re looking at the Larkooler Universal Water Cooling kit, a new product from Taiwan’s GBU International Corporation.  Interestingly, GBU didn’t start out as a water cooling specialist; they developed wireless networking and security systems.  Go figure.  But since their move into the water cooling realm in October 2009, GBU has been looking to offer convenient water cooling kits to consumers in a cost effective manner.

Breaking into this market is no small task, so let’s take a close look at the Larkooler Universal Water Cooling Kit and see if GBU  has managed to successfully accomplish that goal.

Thanks to GBU for providing the sample for this review.

“Reasonable prices, premium quality and punctual delivery are our principals.  Customer’s satisfaction is our goal.  To provide products with best performance, cost is our only job.  We always welcome new partners to cooperate with us.  We do our best to support you and meet your demands.  GBU Taiwan is your most trustable electronics supplier.”
