Features and Specifications

Let’s really point out what the modular feature means on this mouse. This seems to move past a gimmicky sales tactic to allow a user to change some aesthetic pieces on a gaming device. For starters, the mouse is sold with ALL of the modular parts. We’ll see this in packaging, but that means you have grey and white covers, orange and purple switches, AND an optical and laser sensor. You buy the whole package when you buy the Morpha X, which means you essentially get two full mice for the price of one. Sure, if this isn’t implemented well in practice, it might not mean much. However, if EpicGear did this right, then we might be sitting on a gold mine of a gaming mouse here. (Click on the images below for an expanded view.)

Moving on to the details of the specifications, EpicGear made sure their sensors were among what is considered the best in the industry. We’re talking a full 12000 DPI on the optical and 8200 DPI on the laser sensor. Everything looks like it’s on par with other gaming mice and we also have a an adjustable weight system to boot.
