Introduction

Whenever we contemplate a new system build, one of the main concerns is “which case is going to best serve my needs?” Then we’re faced with a good deal of other considerations while searching for the perfect chassis and staying within budget. We all have certain specifications to consider while finding that special case to fit our needs and desires.

So, what makes a case particularly suitable for a certain type of consumer? Certainly there are the functional considerations: full, mid, or micro tower setup for starters. Will it be used as a home server? Perhaps house a workstation? Will it be a Home Theater? What about Gaming? Then there are the aesthetic considerations: color, lighting, metal and plastic, flashy or conservative? And then we can’t forget quality of construction, what about cooling those heat producing components. And last, but by no means least, is the price. With so many variables it’s no wonder there are hundreds of different cases available on the market to suit just about every possibility.

The Enermax LuxuRay PC case is the latest offering in their lineup of cases for value-conscious users. However, affordable and practical do not always go hand-in-hand, but for Enermax this synergy is usually blended and what comes out is usually quite good. This chassis looks good with its features and design, and a promise to not be hard on the wallet. Let’s take a closer look at the Enermax LuxuRay and see how it fares.

"Enermax Technology Corporation was founded in 1990 by a group of young professional, enthusiastic, and high-tech oriented people in Taiwan. The main products we carry are switching power supplies, PC cases, industrial PC cases, pedestal and tower server cases, CPU coolers, second fans, mobile racks and other peripherals. Enermax has its own design groups and production line. Enermax’s Design engineers work around the clock to come up with the best solution and product to meet the demand of the market."
