This is one of the most comfortable, precise, and gorgeous wireless keyboard I have ever used. As a reviewer, when it is time to sit down at my desk to begin the daunting task of writing the review ahead, I can honestly say that I am completely thrilled with the Enermax Acrylux Keyboard.

However, there is one caveat here; and that is I can’t recommend to gamers without some reluctance. Programmable buttons, macros, and software are critical features of a good gaming keyboard. And the Acrylux simply doesn’t offer any of those features, and at a MSRP of $85US spending that kind of cash just doesn’t add up. But seeing as this isn’t designed for or aimed towards the gamers that shouldn’t even be considered an issue.

The Acrylux is also missing any kind of multimedia features; after seeing the wonderful Enermax Aurora Micro’s features, the Acrylux seems very plain by comparison. Simply put, the Acrylux is a worker’s keyboard; it is made for someone who types. This keyboard would probably be best suited in an office environment or for some other professional like a teacher or writer. Accordingly, as someone who does a fair share of writing, this is a fantastic keyboard.

It is a bit difficult, then, to compare the Acrylux to other boards we’ve seen and used. On one hand, the Acrylux doesn’t have any bells or whistles. It’s certainly not geared to gamers or hardcore multimedia users, instead going with a simple and functional minimalist approach. If you want tons of features, then keep on looking. But if you want a wireless keyboard that looks utterly stunning, is built very well, and is wonderfully comfortable and a joy to use, then the Acrylux is a top choice.

Our thanks go to Enermax for providing the Acrylux for this review.
