Let’s recap what we have seen today. From an aesthetics stand point, both the Lepa Chopper and Casino were pleasing to the eye with unique features and designs that really impressed us. First, lets talk a little more about the Lepa Chopper. Although the fan didn’t perform as well under the thermal performance test, we can’t discount it. The Lepa Chopper was designed to only spin at 900RPM thus giving it great noise performance, easily making it quieter then the other fans we compared. The LED blade design really makes the LED lighting effects stand out. We have shown you the model in Red, however Lepa also offers the Chopper in Blue. We found the price of the Lepa Chopper on Newegg during our review. It was selling for $12.99, which is a little bit on the pricier side, but if you are are looking for a fan that can perform quietly and have a great appearance, the Chopper is still a good option. However, if you are looking for thermal performance and can handle a little more noise we would suggest looking at Lepa Casino.
The Lepa Casino was the clear winner of this review. From the unique vertex design to its thermal performance we feel this model takes the cake. Even under full load, the noise was half that of the stock Corsair H60 fan. It also beat the Corsair H60 stock fan by 1c in thermal performance. The Casino’s patented spiral LED with 18 diodes really makes the appearance stand out from others. We found the Lepa Casino at $16.99 on Newegg. Based on its performance and its PWM factor we find that the price is fair when compared to other PWM fans in today’s market. The outstanding LED effects are a bonus that makes the Lepa Casino a great value.
Overall we feel the Lepa Fans deserve a Great Value Review for their aesthetically pleasing design and quiet performance. Although you may be able to find fans that can perform slightly better, they will not look as good as the Lepa Casino model. Both Lepa models come with a 1 year warranty.
