How did it test?
During general use while typing, surfing, e-mailing, and working in Photoshop, the DM1 Pro was set at several dpi settings and finally left on the green led setting or 1600 , which made my movements fast and fluid, and very comfortable during many hours of use. Dragging, clicking, copy paste, and scrolling are what most of us do daily. The ergonomics the DM1 Pro provided us with no distress at all. Let us move on and see how it performs in the gaming arena.
Now, when it came to gaming, we used this mouse to test several high movement and intense button action games. We tested the DM1 Pro at 1600 3200, and 5000 with my usual Battlefield 4, Call of Duty, Titanfall, Crisis 3, Sniper Elite V2, V3, Metal Gear and last but not least Batman. So if you’re familiar with any of these games, you know that they can get very intensive, and with the fast action it’s crucial to have the mouse perform to high demands. We also tested on several different surfaces, with little to no difference in performance which was a big plus.
We found that Dream Machines DM1 Pro gave us great performance at 3200 without the need to set up any gaming profiles or button customization’s as they are not needed, this mouse performed flawlessly. But like any new mouse, it took several days getting used to. The DM1 Pro movements and glide motions are very fluid and accurate.
If you are the type of gamer that likes to, claw grip or fingertip we think the Dream Machine DM1 Pro is a really good mouse to do this with, since it is a bit wider, and longer than some standard mice, and Over-all we felt this mouse performed to its advertised specifications.
if I had to rate this mouse on gaming performance, on a scale of one to ten, ten being best I would definitely rate it a 9.5 for performance and comfort as it performs right up there with some of the best mice we have reviewed, and this is without all the frills or software, which in my opinion if you’re a really good gamer you really should not need.
