Introduction

Awhile back we reviewed the Cubitek XL-Tank which left us with a good feeling about the newer company’s product designs and direction. Continuing our looks at the Cubitek lineup, we’re not looking at another chassis from their Tank Series, the HTPX-Tank. Cubitek designed the HPTX-Tank for high-end gaming PC users, and water cooling enthusiasts alike. If you think the chassis looks familiar, it’s because it will likely remind you of something that Lian Li may have made.

Trying to buy a case these days is no easy task, the market is flooded with models from various manufactures, and it can often be difficult to find the right case to fit your planed systems needs. Will it have enough air flow to keep your systems components cool, will there be enough room for today’s high-end graphics cards. What about the HDD caddy, will it support 3.5" HDDs as well as 2.5"? You also have to know if the 1500W power supply you just bought to power your high end graphics will fit.

Let’s take an in-depth look at the HTPX-Tank and try to answer all of the above questions for you.

Cubitek was founded in 2002, in Taiwan, Cubitek Co. Ltd. initially focused on an OEM/ODM business model. In the spring of 2010 we reorganized to be able to become a branded manufacturer and now develop our own interesting and unique PC chassis. Our philosophy: "Build something we would want to buy at a price we would want to pay.
