Corsair Carbide 500R
Introduction
We’ve seen Corsair expand from just memory products into many areas of the component markets, one of which is the chassis, or case, industry. And we’ve also had a chance to see the various cases, and the Carbide series has been very successful for Corsair. Following that trend, today we’re looking at the latest in the series, the Corsair Carbide 500R.
Corsair has built a name for their products and it’s no different here for the 500R. From quality also comes sleek and elegant design. The 500R is the bigger sibling to Corsair’s Carbide line of the 400R and 300R series case, so we can’t fault you if you thought this case would be a full tower. That’s not the…..case……though.
In fact, the 500R is classed as a mid-tower chassis but the features look to say otherwise. With good airflow and a versatile setup in mind, the 500R has a no-nonsense design that appears to complement the straightforward yet robust features inside and out.
