I suppose you didn’t bother yourself with reviewing the actual sound quality of the microphone when speaking of it, huh? Should go without saying that since it has one, that we as consumers want to know some things related to that very thing.
Hi Hannes,
Thanks for taking the time to read our review. If you take a look at the review “impressions” section we did test the mic in the review, We did it in multiples ways as far in game chat and chat via teamspeak and webchat via skype. The users on the other end did not report any unusual distortion or feedback at the time of testing. Also during in game chat with a couple of friends for testing, they were able to understand me perfectly fine and clear and reported no problems.
Have you tried to adjust the settings on your computer if you are having problems with sound quality? Although the headset doesn’t have its own software to make adjustment you can make inline adjustments within windows and via other software you may be using. IE: Teamspeak as mic volume settings to adjust to make sure your mic is not set to loud. Without proper adjustments some can experience distortion or other feedback, however at the time of you testing we didn’t experience any problems.
If you tried all instances and you feel it has not resolved the issue, maybe contact Cooler Master tech support and see if they can help and possible RMA the product for you.
If you have other questions or concerns please feel free to join our forum and open a discussion.
Thanks
