Cooler Master has been building cases and a whole slew of PC components for many years, to suit many different markets. In just the last year or so they came up with the CM Storm series of products, primarily geared to gamers. We’ve reviewed most products such as keyboards, mice, headsets, and cases within the lineup, and have generally been very impressed.

Today we are looking at the latest edition to the Storm series of products, a new chassis. The name? Star Wars fans will no doubt have fun with this one: it’s the Cooler Master Storm Trooper.

This is a full tower chassis and it truly shows in its size and girth, and is probably one of the heaviest cases we have seen in awhile. Loaded with features one would expect in a full tower oriented to gamers, the styling of the Trooper is also a point of discusson that may be a love-hate thing to many. Beyond that, Cooler Master hasn’t cut any corners on goodies that we like to see in chassis, so let’s jump in to the review and see what we’re working with.

Cooler Master was founded with the mission of providing the industry’s best thermal solutions. Since its establishment a decade ago, the company has remained faithful to this mission, emerging as a world leader in products and services for companies dealing with devices where heat issues must be resolved. The cornerstones of Cooler Master’s philosophy are innovation, speed, and customer satisfaction. Together, these ensure that Cooler Master is the supplier that the companies around the world rely on to deliver the best thermal solutions, creating a win-win situation both for Cooler Master and the companies that become its customers.
